da black sheep:  he was given this nickname when he was a boy. since then, he made it his, even wrote it in his flesh! he is now proud of it: that’s the name he signs his creations with.
creation: he fell in it when he was young. black sheep discovers a real passion for the uncommon, originality, “custom culture”.
everything is source of inspiration.
the hippies years, with their chromes, glitter and grenadine color varnishes, are going to play a determinant influence on his artistic tastes.

very early, he goes into personalized painting. the metal “flakes”, “candy” or “flip flop” will soon be part of his life. he tries different techniques to recreate these profound aspects that you find on the famous syrup apples, the “candy apples”. americans had created this special ink, at that time still unknown in europe. in the 80’s, when we in europe, were still discovering the “2 components”, the creators in the united states, were already perfectly mastering 4 to 5 components.

a few stays in the kingdom of the custom in order to discover the secrets of a metal “flake old school” or high tech, and there is back sheep ready for the “roots”, the west coast or the “chicano style”. it is easy to imagine that his inspirations are drawn from the stars and stripes country.

after the 60’s and the hippies in the 70’s, the chicanos followed the movement “metal flakes power”. then comes, in the 80’s, the rap movement, still full of glitter.  and finally, in 2000, the come back of the “bling bling”. black sheep always certified that the metal flake would come back. and today, it comes back strongly!

he remembers the moments, when, he used to experiment the mix of colours alone in his cellar. while doing his hobby, he created in 2000, “kustom syndicate”.
but don’t get it wrong, money and notoriety aren’t his first motivations. what pushes him to paint is much more passion and friendship. if he likes your idea, he will start working. if not...
so to get a creation signed black sheep, be patient!
